Parent and Family Advisory Council Scholarship

The Parent & Family Advisory Council (PFAC) Scholarship was established in 2007 by the PFAC and donors to the Spartan Families Fund. The mission of the Parent & Family Advisory Council is to strengthen the quality of the UNCG educational experience by promoting communication, inspiring good will and support for the University, and enhancing high quality programs and educational opportunities for students. The scholarship recognizes students who have made contributions while at UNCG to foster good will and support for the University. Students applying must be in good academic and conduct standing, have engaged in activities on- or off-campus that have fostered good will and support for UNCG, and provide two letters of reference. Two awards will be given in the amount of $750 and applied toward the following academic year. This scholarship is administered annually by the Dean of Students office.

Scholarship Requirements
1. Must be an undergraduate student in good academic standing.
2. Must not have violated the University’s Student Code of Conduct or Academic Integrity Policy.
3. Applicant must demonstrate participation in activities while at UNCG that have inspired good will and support for the University.
4. Applicant must have a cover letter and resume.
5. Applicant must have two letters of recommendation from community members.
